In order to set a target for reducing your GHG emissions, it is necessary to get a clear understanding of your current / baseline GHG emissions (carbon footprint).  A GHG Inventory enables organizations to measure their emissions and to identify opportunities for reduction of emissions. How to begin:

1. Do one yourself - collect all baseline data (energy/fuel use), multiply by CO2 coefficient for various fuel/energy types; or
